Following on from our Zero Waste Town Community Gathering, we would like to invite you to discuss the implementation of the communications strategy and a proposal for the Zero Waste Advocates Network. Everyone is welcome to join.
During the two hour open meeting, we will work towards finalising how the advocates network will be set up and structured. We will also be discussing the communications strategy that will form part of the Zero Waste Town Full Project Proposal which we will be submitting by Friday 28th April.
The structure of the meeting will be as follows:
1. Overview of the Communications Strategy and proposal options
2. What is the Zero Waste Advocate Network and why do we need this?
a) Introduction to the the Zero Waste Advocate Network concept
b) Outcome of the feasibility study to date – survey results and community consultation results
3. Focused discussion questions for the group on the Zero Waste Advocate Network
a) How would the network sit along with the existing Shrub structure?
b) What would a Zero Waste Advocate’s role be?
c) What support would the Shrub provide?
4. Come to a conclusion on the best plan of action for the implementation of the Zero Waste Advocate Network (via a vote)
