🏢 Zero Waste Hub, 22 Bread Street, EH3 9AF
Fridays from 3 to 6pm!
In collaboration with Queer Writers of Edinburgh, the SHRUB is hosting a weekly write-a-thon space for the month of November.
Come and get creative in a collaborative and supportive environment.
There will be a big table booked for the occasion, look for the short tattooed lad with the bright purple hair!
Tea and coffee will be on sale but you are welcome to bring your own beverage/snacks if you’d like. Pens and paper can be provided if needed.
You don’t need to be LGBTQIA+ to join NaNoWriMo at SHRUB , but your host is non-binary trans and SHRUB is a queer radical space, so please do remember your manners, don’t make assumptions about other people’s identity, and do always treat people with dignity and respect.
The session will take place during regular opening hours.
This event is FREE.
The Zero Waste Hub is on the ground floor with a small step at the entrance. A ramp is available upon request. All the public spaces throughout the building are step free and there are gender neutral and powerchair accessible toilets (no changing places toilet) with hand rails.
SHRUB is a sober space with quiet music and low lighting. Noisy sirens do go through the neighbourhood. We do not have a hearing loop installed.
Our venue is located near bus stops served by the following routes: 2, 35, 34, 16, 11, 24, 12, 10, 36, 47. There is limited on-street parking and paid parking on Castle Terrace (roughly 300 metres away by foot on partially cobbled path or 400+ via flatter paved paths).
If you have further questions regarding accessibility, please contact the Zero Waste Hub on 0131 281 0583 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
SHRUB Coop is supported through a combination of grant funding and generous donations from our community. We’re grateful for all their support. Find out more about our grant funders by clicking on the logos above.
