SHRUB Cooperative is an Edinburgh-based charity dedicated to promoting circular economy practices, environmental education, and community participation in sustainable climate action.

Our mission is to keep clothes and preloved items in circulation, benefiting local residents and reducing waste. We strive to empower behavioural change in a world dominated by excess consumerism, enhancing resource efficiency and addressing critical environmental issues - from waste reduction to promoting sustainable transport.

Become a member

You can become a member with us from £18 a year or £12 for 6 months. You can either sign up online or in the Zero Waste Hub.

Organise a fundraiser

Organise SHRUB fundraiser events! Thinking outside the box is encouraged - sponsored runs/cycles, assisted clothes mending, clothes swaps etc.

Volunteer your time

There are a huge range of volunteering roles available at SHRUB from bike wrangling to collecting food! At the moment, fundraising and admin will be particularly helpful with reduced staff hours.

Join our fundraising volunteers

 Do you have funding experience? Join our Fundraising Working Group and help us to write more successful funding applications, to find funding opportunities, and come up with other ways we can raise money.​
